Polymer Digital Engineering
Project Description
Water transport through polymeric membranes is critical for applications like seawater desalination and wastewater remediation. This project utilizes state-of-the-art molecular simulations to investigate how the degree of polymerization, branching, and crosslinking influence transport mechanisms, challenging long-held assumptions in the field.
Interns work with molecular simulations to bridge the gap between theoretical models and simulation-based evidence, potentially redefining how we engineer polymeric membranes for enhanced performance in industrial applications.
