The OSPO Impact

Your contribution helps us provide high-impact internships for UW-Madison and Madison College students, recognize leadership in open  research through our Open Awards, and sustain the critical open source community that powers the Wisconsin Idea.

While open source research has a long history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the OSPO aims to build upon that success. We offer recognition, funding, and support for projects through our student internship program. We love open source innovation and are dedicated to pushing the open ecosystem at UW-Madison forward. Support for us means support for the 30+ projects we fund each year and for the OSPO’s many events to help educate and share open principles.
