Ionic

Project Description

In collaboration with Madison College, the UW-Madison Open Source Program Office (OSPO) established an internship program for students to participate in open source software projects. The Ionic project focuses on developing mobile and web applications using the Ionic framework, while learning crucial skills in managing open source software projects and growing user communities.

Interns gain hands-on experience with semantic HTML, modern CSS, advanced Javascript, and Typescript, and contribute to the software development process through pull requests and agile teamwork.
