Bioinformatics Research Support

Project Description

Big data is ubiquitous in biology, and open-source software is essential for its analysis. The Bioinformatics Research Support Service focuses on making research computing and open-source computational tools more accessible to researchers by building reproducible pipelines.

Interns contribute by developing reproducible and scalable bioinformatics workflows using tools like DAGman and HTCondor, collaborating on code and documentation, and performing validation of these pipelines to advance biological research on campus.
